Few activities have an extra cost, such as horseback riding, jet skiing, and the Friday 5k (a $15 entry fee). Nightly entertainment is also included, such as, fire dancers, comedians, musicians, karaoke, and dancing. Check out the Destination section for more!

How do I book my flight and airport transfer?

Many guests may want to use airline miles, or vouchers for booking flights. Please know you are welcome to book your flight on your own, however, if you would like to package your stay and flight together, Tina Hearns will be able to assist you. Please note, Tina will still be taking care of all airport transfers for all guests to and from the resort. Please visit the Travel page for more information.

Where are the bride and groom registered?

We love creating priceless memories with friends and family! For those guests who are able to celebrate with us in Mexico, please know your witness to our wedding is the best gift you could ever give us. However for those of you that are still insistent on a gift, we have created a registry guide on Zola for your reference (https://www.zola.com/registry/meetthephillips).

Do I tip staff at an all-inclusive resort?

We highly encourage you to tip the resort staff. From bartenders, to servers, to your concierge, you will have many people working very hard to ensure you have the most fabulous stay possible. Tipping rates are different for Mexico than the US, so I encourage you to check out our Pinterest page for more details and resources on how and who to tip while vacationing in Mexico. Most guests plan for an average of $25-35 in tipping funds a day.

What is the resort and wedding dress code?

The El Dorado Royale has a dress code for day and night. Daytime attire consists of traditional beach and pool wear (use of coverups needed for restaurants). In the evening hours, a dressier attire is expected for restaurants (skirts, dresses, collared shirts, nice shorts, summer slacks, etc). Wedding attire is traditional formal attire for a summer wedding. The wedding will be taking place on a rooftop overlooking the beach, so guests have a choice of wearing a variety of formal footwear. Please visit our Pinterest page for inspiration.
